Gosport man charged with Fareham burglary

Shortly before 2am yesterday (23 March) we had a call about a burglary alleged to have just taken place at an office in Osborn Road, Fareham.
 
A window was broken and money was stolen from a cash tin.
 
Half an hour later officers arrested a man as part of their enquiries, and he has since been charged.
 
Steven Christopher Sharp, aged 49 years, of Tukes Avenue in Gosport, was charged with burglary and remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning.
 
He was bailed by the court to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 27 April.
