CCTV released following incident at Co-Op in Holbury

Do you recognise the man in these CCTV images?

We want to speak to him in connection with an incident at a Co-op store in Holbury on Sunday, 6 June.

Between 9.22pm and 9.30pm a man reportedly left the Co-Op on Long Lane, Holbury without paying for items.

After leaving the store, a member of public challenged the man. The man then produced a knife and threatened the member of public before running off.

The man is described as:

• White
• Aged 25-35
• Around 5ft 7 inches tall
• Slim build
• Dark hair
• Wearing a blue baseball cap, large dark jacket, jogging bottoms / jeans and white trainers.

Officers have released these three CCTV images of the man they want to identify.

Officers are also keen to identify the member of public who challenged the man. This person may be able to help with our investigation. Was this you?
