We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Southampton in broad daylight on Thursday, 27 May.
Between 11.30am and 12.30pm, two individuals wearing dark clothing, gloves and face coverings gained entry to a property in Outer Circle, Southampton, by smashing the rear conservatory window with an unknown object.
The victim, a 38-year-old woman, and her baby were at home when the burglary took place, but were not physically harmed.
Significant damage was done inside the property, to the garden shed and to the victim’s vehicle during the incident.
The individuals then left the scene before police arrived.
They also reportedly made threats to kill a neighbour who challenged them as they were gaining entry to the victim’s garden behind the property.
It is not known what was stolen in the burglary at this time.
Were you in the area when this incident happened? Did you see anyone acting suspiciously or fitting the description above? Did you see any suspicious vehicles?
Officers also want to hear from anyone who might have CCTV, doorbell camera or dash cam footage of the incident.
