Three man arrested in connection with Portsmouth assaults

Three men have been arrested in connection with two assaults in Portsmouth.

They occurred between 8pm and 8:35pm on Sunday (9 May) on King Richard I Road, at the junction of Winston Churchill Avenue.

A 20-year-old and a 27-year-old from Portsmouth and a 29-year-old from Fratton were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and assault by beating.

All three have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
