Arrests made following several burglaries in north of Portsmouth

Officers investigating several garage burglaries across the north of the city have made three arrests:

• A 16-year-old boy from Cosham has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
• A 35-year-old woman from Cosham has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
• A 15-year-old boy from Southsea has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.

All three have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.

The arrests follow three incidents:

• Sometime between Thursday 29 April and Monday 3 May, a bicycle was stolen from a garage on Northwood Road.
• Sometime between 6.30pm on Sunday 2 May and 7am on Monday 3 May, a bicycle was stolen from a garage in Cosham.
• Between 5am and 5.30 on Tuesday 4 May, a motorbike and an electric scooter were stolen from a shed at an address on Tarleton Road.

All three incidents remain under investigation. If you have any information or have seen anything suspicious, or if anything similar has happened to you then call us on 101.
