Two charged following serious incident in Southsea

Officers investigating a serious incident that took place in Southsea on Monday 25 January have charged two men.

Kameron Karimi, aged 23, of Crasswell Street, Portsmouth and Sepan Qasim, also aged 23, of Clarendon Road, Southsea, have both been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm.

The charges come after two men, aged 20 and 28, were stabbed on Margate Road, Southsea, on Monday 25 January.

Karimi and Qasim appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday 30 January) and have been remanded to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on, 1 March.

Officers will be in the area today (Saturday 30 January) carrying out ongoing enquiries. If you have any concerns please do speak to one of our officers.
