Community Update

Alert message sent 16/03/2020 23:00:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Hello, welcome to your latest community update. I have been on leave and then away on a course so this update covers the past 30 days.
There have been recent burglaries in Sandpiper Way, Centurion Way and Stanford Road.  There was a failed attempt at breaking into a shed in Wentworth Crescent.
A van was broken into in Ketelbey Rise but luckily nothing was taken.  There was also an attempted break in to a van in Britten Road.  The culprits were disturbed and ran off without stealing anything.
Two vehicles in Skylark Close and Partridge Close were targeted for their steering wheels and vehicles in Handel Close and Woodgarston Drive had their number plates stolen.
We have received many reports of suspicious incidents from members of the public which shows that you are all being more vigilant in the community.
Suspicious activity can refer to any incident, event, individual or activity that seems unusual or out of place.
By reporting you can help police make communities safer and more secure. Any piece of information could be important!
Key points to Consider:
  • Be quick and accurate when you make a report
  • Provide as much detail as possible relating to –vehicles, people, and locations.
Kind regards
PCSO Doherty
