Happy New Year!
Not much to report in this update so instead here are some statistics to show the overall trend in crime.
In the last 90 days Brighton Hill North has seen a rise in crime of 7.94%.
Brighton Hill South has seen a decrease in crime of 0.19%.
Hatchwarren and Beggarwood – rise in crime of 1.45%.
Kempshott – decrease in crime by 0.18%.
However, over the last 12 months Brighton Hill North has had an overall decrease in crime of 11.29%.
Brighton Hill South – decrease in crime by 19.74%.
Hatchwarren and Beggarwood – increase in crime by 1.76%.
Kempshott – increase by 9.22%.
Drugs – We have received several reports of youths smoking cannabis in the underpass and on the foot pass near to Manor Field Infant School.  The school recently had significant criminal damage committed by youths climbing on the school roof. 
Due to these problems police and Community Safety Patrol Officers are patrolling in the area as often as possible.
Burglary – a house in Kestrel Drive was broken into.  Access was gained by smashing a window in the conservatory at the rear of the house.  The investigation is ongoing.
