A 15 year old boy has sent a letter of apology after admitting stealing a fire extinguisher from a petrol station.

The incident occurred on October 17. Two male suspects entered the Texaco petrol station in Hook and one was seen to steal the extinguisher.

He was subsequently identified by CCTV and agreed to accept a penalty by way of a Community Resolution, after admitting he was responsible.

The boy, who cannot be named, wrote a letter of apology to the garage staff and is banned from going into the garage for a year.
