Boy, 15, charged with driving offences in Ringwood

A teenage boy from Ringwood has been charged following an incident in the town on Friday evening (11 September).

The 15-year-old has been charged with the following offences;

driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road/public place without due care and attention

using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance

driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence

It follows reports of an electric motorbike, subsequently seized, being ridden on Castleman Trailway.

The boy has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 28 September.
