Man charged with knife possession offence

You may remember that a couple of weeks ago, we told you about an incident in Winnall Manor Road.

Officers were deployed to an address at around 8.45pm on Wednesday 11 March, to a report that a group were attempting to access a property.

Officers attended and made an arrest. A knife was seized.

Following further enquiries, Daniel Jack Wigmore, 25, of Cox Row, Chandler’s Ford, has been charged with possession of a bladed article.

He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 28 April.
