Appeal for witnesses and information following business burglary in Eastleigh

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a reported burglary from a business premises on Woodside Avenue in Eastleigh.

During the incident, which occurred between 5.24pm and 7.50pm on Saturday 3 January,  it’s reported that six micro excavators were then stolen by several men travelling in a dark grey Audi A3.

It’s believed access was gained to the excavators after an angle grinder had been used to force entry through some fencing.

The stolen machinery was subsequently loaded onto an Iveco Eurocargo before both vehicles then left the scene. 

The Iveco Eurocargo had a white cab and blue trailer, with rear white doors and curtains. 

We are aware that there were other people in the area at the time of the incident and would urge them to get in contact with us if they witnessed anything of the burglary.

We’d also like to hear from anyone who has any footage of the incident, whether dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone.
