Appeal for witnesses and information following theft from vehicle in Bursledon

Officers are investigating following a reported theft from motor vehicle on Le Marechal Avenue in Bursledon.

During the incident, which occurred between 3am and 5am on Sunday 21 December, entry was forced to a vehicle and items stolen from within.

Among the items stolen were bank cards. It’s reported that two unsuccessful attempts were then made to fraudulently use the cards at a store on Athelstan Road in Southampton.

We are aware that attempts may have been made to enter other vehicles in the area of Le Marechal Avenue on the same morning.
