Were you in the area of Fareham train station between 7:30pm and 7:40pm on Sunday (14 December)?
We are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault outside Fareham train station last week. It was reported to us that between 7:30pm and 7:40pm a 44-year-old man and a woman have been approached by a group of teenagers, three boys and two girls, outside Fareham train station. They have attempted to take the man’s rucksack and assaulted him, causing a minor injury, before leaving the area. The group are described as between 16-20-years-old, white, with one wearing a grey hoodie and another member of the group dressed in all black. It is believed they left the area on the E4 bus toward Redlands Lane. We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened and were in the area at the time. If you witnessed the incident please call 101 and quote 44250562945. Additionally, we’d like to hear from you if you have CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that may assist our enquiries.
