A 53-year-old man from Bursledon has been charged with six shopliftings from stores in Bursledon and Southampton.

Richard Charles Brown, of Silver Birches, Bursledon was arrested this morning (Wednesday 17 April).

The charges relate to reported thefts, in March and April, from One Stop, Portsmouth Road, Bursledon, Co-op, Portsmouth Road, Southampton and Co-op, Spring Road, Southampton.

Brown was due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
