We wanted to provide you with an update to a sexual offence investigation which has been conducted in Fareham.

It was alleged that a 17-year-old girl had got on the X5 First Bus from Fareham to Locks Heath on the afternoon of Friday 4 March, when she was sexually assaulted over her clothing by a man she did not know.

Following enquiries, 42-year-old Mandeep Singh Gill, from Otterbourne, has been summonsed to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday 7 July) to face a charge of sexual assault.
