Good afternoon Resident,

We'd like to make you aware of multiple incidents of thefts from motor vehicles which took place overnight between Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th September 2024.

These incidents took place on New Road, Fir Drive, and Meadow Way in Blackwater. On each occasion, offenders have gained entry to a vehicle and personal belongings have been taken.

Did you see anything suspicious at the time? Do you have CCTV or a camera doorbell that has captured anything that would assist an investigation? If so, contact 101 or visit www.hampshire.police.uk and click report, quoting reference number 44240399744.

Please use the below prevention advice to prevent theft from your vehicle:

- When leaving your vehicle, close all windows and ensure the vehicle is properly locked at the doors;

- Don't leave anything on display in your vehicle;

- Take all your personal possessions with you;

- Do not hide valuable items, take them with you or leave them at home;

- Leave the glove box open to show there's nothing inside;

- Do not store ownership documents inside the vehicle.
