This is a Witness Appeal and Crime Awareness / Prevention Alert for incidents in West End. Please don’t think this won’t happen to you, a large number of crimes are purely opportunistic – door open / unlocked, window open, items in view and or easy reach.
If you see anyone trying or house / garage doors, or car doors CALL 999 IMMEDIATLEY – so we have a chance of catching the offenders. With any detail possible – clothing type / colours / direction of travel.
We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Several cars have been entered in Oak Vale, Upmill Close, Barbe Baker Ave, Charmwen Cres, 4 x Eden Road and 4 x Ivy Lane. And a motorbike stolen from Swaythling Road. An Ipod touch, 2 x sunglasses a works car pass, car keys (used to steal a car, which was recovered) have been stolen. 
Please Help Us To Prevent Crime –
Keep your car locked and remove all valuable property from your car, including any bags and coats. Pull your car handle to CHECK it’s locked.
Thieves have and will, break into cars for bags and coats, due to the possibility they may contain valuables. Thieves are also searching unlocked vehicles for ANYTHING including, chargers, loose coins, sunglasses and keys.
Please check your garages are locked and that property inside is secured and recorded on
