Garage Breaks

Good evening Citizen ,
On 21st May 2019, Longmoor Neighbourhood Policing Team received 4 reports following garage break ins, in the Headley Down area.
It appears that most of these incidents occurred overnight on 20th May 2019 – 21st May 2019.
Various items were stolen from each garage which I have listed below -
Garage 1 – Golf equipment stolen.
Garage 2 - 3 drills stolen along with their carry boxes.
Garage 3 - 4 Mountain bikes stolen as detailed below.
      • WyndyMilla Lightning Speed
      • Specialized Jynx Sport
      • Ridge Back Horizon
      • Kona         
Garage 4 – A silver Triumph Tiger Sport Motorcycle stolen.
Did you see or hear anything suspicious overnight on 20th May 2019 – 21st May 2019?

  • Consider the use of a garage door stop or a garage defender.
  • Consider the use of a PIR Alarm system within your garage.

  • Consider tethering all tools and garden equipment to a secure point or ground anchor within your garage. You can visit to search for recommended and reviewed security products.
  • Ensure motorcycles / bicycles are locked securely within the garage / outbuilding.
