Suspicous incident

Alert message sent 28/04/2019 11:58:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

In the early of the morning on the 26th April in Whitchurch a resident has been awoken by their dog barking. On looking outside of the bedroom window they have seen a male in a skip situated on their driveway. Occupant has gone down stairs and allowed the dog to go outside, the dog has done a good job on introducing itself and encouraging the male to go for an early morning run. This incident is believed to be linked to a neighbouring property reporting the back gate had been left insecure and children`s bikes had been moved but nothing stolen.
Metal Thefts appear to be on the increase and its suspected that is what the male was after. BEWARE.
