Theft from Vehicles in Petersfield

Alert message sent 25/04/2019 09:34:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Over the last 24 hrs a number of vehicles have been entered whilst parked either on the persons drive or on the road in various places in Petersfield. Items have been taken from the vehicles that has been left on view. An untidy search has been done in these vehicles including the boot. The best advice is not to leave anything of value in your vehicle. Please make sure that you lock your vehicle when leaving it and then double check it is locked by trying the handle. Make sure that you have closed all windows completely as even left open a little can give the opportunity to get in. If anyone has seen anything suspicious in connection with vehicles during theses times then please call 101 or report it on line by going to www.hampshire.police.uk/reportacrime
For further information on security either with your vehicle or home please go to www.hampshire.police.uk/ and search for Home Security.
