Renewed appeal for help to find missing Noor

Alert message sent 01/03/2019 12:32:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

We’re renewing our appeal for help to find a missing man from Southampton following a possible sighting in Brambridge.

Noor, 20, from Shirley, went missing from his home in St James Park Road, Southampton on Saturday evening (Feb 23).

It is very out of character for him not to be in contact with family or friends for this amount of time, so we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Since our last appeal we have had a possible sighting of him in Brambridge, along the Itchen Navigation footpath, close to the alpaca farm, at around 5.15pm on Monday (February 25).

Inspector Nick Mills said: “We know that this path is used quite a lot by dog walkers and runners, so we’d like to speak to anyone who thinks they may have seen Noor.

“We’re also asking residents in the nearby area to go and check in their sheds and any outbuildings as he may be seeking shelter there.

“Please think back over the past few days and try to remember if you have seen anyone matching his description.”

He’s described as being 6ft tall, of an athletic build, with light brown hair that is often swept back.

Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting 44190067362, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
