RNWA Annual General Meeting 2019 - Plan

Alert message sent 06/02/2019 17:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Member/Coordinator

In March 2018, Version 3 of the RNWA Constitution was published and agreed by the NW membership. The Constitution mandate is: to operate Neighbourhood Watch Schemes in Rushmoor at a local level, and ideally by each of the 13 Wards forming a local group known as a Community Forum.

As March 2019 is the first anniversary of the new NW organisation in Rushmoor, it is time we published Annual Reports and a list of candidates for election for the 2019 RNWA Steering Committee. As we agreed in the Constitution, we will attempt to carry out the business of an AGM electronically (Virtual AGM).

The planned timetable of events is as follows:
Mid-February: Email Members the Chairman’s and Treasurer’s reports, and current nominations for the 2019 Steering Committee. Offer places on this committee to our Members/Coordinators. Seek comments and approval of the proposed nominations.

Early March: The Steering Committee review received comments and nominations, set-out targets for the coming year and finalise the nominations list. Publish these documents and seek comments from the membership. Also publish any valid contests for Steering Committee officer posts. In the latter case, the Members will be polled electronically in Mid-March.

End of March: Commission the 2019 Steering Committee.

Please use the Reply button below if you have any comments or queries. Attached FYI is a copy of RNWA Constitution v3.
Shaun Lehane: RNWA Chairman
