Is your house number visible to emergency services

Alert message sent 06/02/2019 10:59:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

South Central Ambulance Trust have asked if NW can help in its campaign to have legible house names or numbers.
Would you still be alive when the Ambulance, Fire and Rescue or other emergency services found your house?
The visibility and legibility from a passing vehicle of your House name or number is critical.
The recommended lettering is at least 3 inches high and in a position about four feet above the ground no more than 25 feet from the road.
The emergency services rely on clear identifiers on properties to perform effectively - please help them find you.
