Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Dear all

Good morning

Between January 23rd and January 26th 2019 two large wooden ornate garden benches were stolen from a garden in Preston Candover.
The thieves used either a van or flatbed type vehicle to remove take them away.
I ask if anyone was driving along Bugmore Lane near to Preston Candover village between these times and saw any such vehicle parked up to please give me a call on 101 or crime stoppers on 0800.555111 and quote crime reference 441900032127.
May I also take this opportunity to warn all households that in late winter and early spring, this is the time we see a rise if thefts from gardens and from garden sheds, please use good locks and hasps and consider shed alarms, some are now battery and work extremely well.
Many thanks
Constable Andrew Reid
